Fortune of the latest Alto seem to opposite of what SuzukiFan expecting before it launch (May be the same with peoples at Suzuki too).The car have many good factors to be the big hit in India but it sale very dissapoint for just around 1,000 unit per month but the sale in China is better than everyone expect at nearly 5,000 unit regularly every month.

SuzukiFan don’t know why, until Suzuki China said in the press release that the car is a great and well reputable small car in China.Suzuki tols us that the Alto is only in its class that rank in “Chinese 10 Best Engines” for two consecutive years(2010, 2011).They say that Alto has been a leader of models in the domestic mini vehicle market in the country and it has an excellent quality reputation and high value retention released by the JDPower Asia Pacific 2011 China Initial Quality study which have been the segment champions.

So,When the car get midcycle updates or minorchage,it got the spyshot from land of the dragon.As many engineer from China work closely with team from India and Japan to bring it to latest freshest.The car will get big cosmetic change start from new front light that change from curvy water drop to more angular and handsome Shape.While the grille and bumper is camour with black plastic.

At rear the same shape of taillight remain but will add a LED light,The bumper is all new cover with sporty black plastic mold that similar to the diffuser.Inside the, will get the black interior instead of beige colour but styling is stay the same.

It will launch in China by 2012.After that,India launch of next generation Alto/A-star in early 2014 and European launch of next gen Alto in may of the same year .China likely to get old model selling along new model that will develop from Regina concept (It’s should call Regina in production version too).

Rumor also surfaced that Maruti will add boot to the A-star in 2013.If this true,They will likely to sale current A-star beyond next year that means new Alto or A-star that schedule’s to arrive in 2014 must find the new name and Regina will be in consideration.

Suzuki Swift Sport in under consideration for India and the good news is Suzuki developing new small diesel engine for small car.

Suzuki Swift is India’s most selling car in April 2012 ahead of long runing Suzuki Alto.It can be said that Swift sale in India going stronger year after year.no doubt about that because it is one of the best ride and handling,Grestest petrol and diesel engine,Maruti’s quality of after sale and good resale value.

Suzuki is report considering Swift Sport for India.What different in the Sport version?.Well, notthing is confirm right now but a India’s hot hatch Swift Sport should have only 5 door version.It’s will not have 3 door because that only for European countries.Actually, it will be current Swift that currenty sale but it likely to get a body kit (New front bumper that will nore agressive and more sport look and rear bumper that have black mold plastic that look like a diffuser).More easy to say that exterior will very close to the international’s Swift sport.

Maruti is confirmed investing about INR 900 crores to develop small diesel engine. Rumore suggest a downsized, three cylinder variant of the 1.3 Liter Fiat Multijet turbo diesel unit.The engineering’s work of the engine have been started since middle of 2011 and should be ready around 2015.The lists of car that should feature this engine start from A-start,WagonR,Estilo or even the next generation Maruti Suzuki Alto.

In march, SuzukiFan reports that Suzuki plans to launch long wheel base version of Solio with 3 row of seat by 2012.Several week later Mag-x of Japan publish scoop that Suzuki plan a stingray version of Solio.

The stingray is a sport version of many Suzuki car that sell in Japan.The stingray get the minor exterior tweak to gain more sporty and dynamic styling that attrack younger customers and ,at the same time, expend the line of the car.

According to the rendering we got, The Solio stingray will get new design headlight,bonnet, bumper and grille.The front light replaced with more sharp and aggessive styling,the stylish chrome grille replace with more younger look dark grille .The bonnet is more bold and have sharp edge .While others design is remain the same with normal version.

The Solio is now one of the best selling Suzuki’s cars (Exclude Kei car)in Japan.The sale is very consistant and stingray version of Solio will incease sale of Suzuki car.

The car should arrive Japan dealers this year.

It has been confirmed that next generation of Maruti Suzuki 800 will discontinue the 800 name and receive new name.Amoung the rumour that currently surface,the replacement may called Cervo.And, The car is not relative to Japanese Suzuki Cervo that forward in many Email in the recent year.

The 800 replacement will be new develop car and will have price around 2-3.5 lakh.Power by 800 CC petrol that develop from Alto F8D engine.It will, at the same time,replace Alto when it arrive as many unformal source say that Suzuki will get rid of 800 CC version of Alto and left only the Alto K10.The Maruti Suzuki 800 replacement will arrive by november 2012

“Alto’s (both 800cc and K10) production has declined to less than 1,100 a day from a peak of 1,500,” an executive at one of the part suppliers said. Maruti Suzuki is expected to give us a higher (part) supply schedule for the new car as it expects sales to grow after the (Maruti Suzuki 800 replacement) launch,” the executive said.

Another update news is supplier said that Maruti Suzuki is developing the new Alto on its existing platform, it will be “a completely new car.”SuzukiFan expect it to arrive around two year.

Next generation 2013 Suzuki Palette will have super fuel economy as good as 28 liter/km.

Suzuki Palette is now in first generation,arrive since february 2008,is Suzuki answer to Daihatsu best selling kei’s car for past many year.First generation’s Daihatsu Tanto was arrive in 2003 and 2nd generation arrived sinced december 2007.The car is a low floor high roof with boxy styling and rear sliding doors.The Tanto also ahead of the palette because it don’t have middle pillar.

In 2011,Daihatsu dispatched 129,118 unit of Tanto to customer.While Suzuki can sold 54,825 unit of Palette and they also produce 49,548 unit of Palette that rebadge as Nissan Roox.The Daihatsu Tanto sale is ahead of Suzuki because they divide in to sub-brand like Tanto Exe which acctually all new car with new interior and exterior styling but share Tanto’s name and sale data’s report at Tanto’s figure.

The new Tanto will arrive in december 2012 and the 2nd generation of Palette will arrive in 2013.Some source is say that new Palette will arrive in early 2013 but some report around september to December 2013 which very close to the launch date of next generation Suzuki WagonR which will arrive in september 2013.So,The launch date of Palette may move ahead because of to make it not be accurate with the new WagonR.

The new Palette will have lighter weight and ultra-low fuel consumption R06A engine. JC08 mode fuel efficiency of the current palette is 20.8km / L but the new model is expected to be around 28km / L dua to use of new engine and more light weight plaform.

In every motorshow around the world from last year until the latest at currently going 2012 Auto China.Suzuki display a Swift EV-electric vehicle concept which not confidential that the production of that concept will arrive in 2013.Actually,the source from Japan say that the car will arrive at the earliest at March 2013.

The car is based on the Swift but it will install with the new power supply .A petrol-electric motor pair with very high performance lithium ion battery that Suzuki develop with Sanyo.It now, unconfirm about engine displacement but the source expect 660 cc or 1.2 liter petrol.the source say that if the car get just 660 cc petrol engine,customer will not worry about the power because the electric motors is very stroung and can generate maximum output from any speed,especially at low speed,So,don’t worry about the output performance would be less.

The lithium ion battery is very capable as it can run about 20-30km with the single charging.Charging time is four hours in power 110V, an hour and a half has become a dedicated 220V power supply.while fuel consumption of the generator is driven by a gasoline engine is excellent and the 28km / L in Japan’s JC08 mode.

But SuzukiFan consider as above mention system is very advance,It could aviable only inJapan but others countries may get a less performance electric and batterry system which more affordable like Toyota did with the prius v that have different specification depend on region and prices they offer.

Suzuki display the concept in nearly every counties auto show since last year make us predict that the car will be offer in nearly every markets around the world.

This not the first time that Suzuki attemp to petrol-electric motor vehicle as in 2003-2005,Suzuki sold the Suzuki Twin.But they not success about the sale volume dua to limit just 2 seat and the petrol-electric is not popular that time.

Suzuki also plans electric version of SX4 around 2015.

It is clear that second generation Yaris sedan/Belta/Vios timeline,the hatchback version of Yaris arrive Japan in late 2005 and Europe in early 2006.Then,sedan version of Yaris/Vitz which called Belta in Japan/ North american and Vios in Asia arrive in late2006/early 2007(About one year after the Hatchback).

The car share underpinnings with each other. However, while the Yaris/Vitz was designed at Toyota’s French design studios, the Belta was designed at Toyota’s Japanese design studios because they target for poeple that have differennt need.Such as the sedan are very popular in US and Asia but it can sale only a few in Europe.

The new generation of Yaris/Vitz hatchback was launched Japan in December 2010.but next generation of the Yaris sedan or balta the car dua in late 2012 or early 2013.About 2 years after launched of hatchback.

But the image is the Toyota Dear Qin concept car that debuted in 2012 Auto China in both hatchback and sedan styling.Everyone is believe that these could be the preview of next generation B segment sedan from Toyota and the car will sprawn to low cost hatchback.The two cars will share much of component to reduce cost.

SuzukiFan was told that the design of both car is final.They can say that the sedan’s headlight will lay in horizontal like we see in the new Camry and the grille will be similar like we see in the Yaris.Overall the new car will look more muscle and bold than the car it replace and sportyness is also include in the car.

SuzukiFan say that the new car will be more sporty and dynamic than before.A more suitable packaging and more competitive in the segment.The engine will be 1.0-1.5 liter petrol but the best selling engine will be block 1NR-FE of 4 cylinder 1.5 liter petrol mate with 5 speed manual tranmission and 4 speed automatic but some countries will get carry on 1.5 liter petrol 1 NZ-FE engine .While in some market will be equipped with 1.0 and 1.3 liter petrol with 5 speed manual or CVT.

The suspension will be improved, ride and handling quality will be better.Front will be MacPherson strut with coil spring. rear will be torsion beam like current car.The steering will be chnage to EPS-electronic power steering.

The car have release date in early 2013.

Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd, A joint venture production and sales of Suzuki’s automobiles in China (Investment ratio; Suzuki Motor Corporation 25%, 10% Suzuki China Investment Co., Ltd., 14% Sojitz Corporation, 51% Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd) open a groundbreaking ceremony of new passenger car plant in Chongqing ,China.The 2nd factory of Changan Suzuki located in Tomoe Chongqing or located in the existing first Changan Suzuki’s plant.

The new plant will start production at december 2013 with 150,000 units per year and will increase to 250,000 unit a year by 2015.While the first plant can produce 250,000 a year is runing in nearly full production in 2011 with 209,692 units produced.

The Changan Suzuki establish in May 25, 1993 and start production at May 1995.Now, it got 4,343 Employee and procduce Alto,Cultus (Antelope),Swift and SX4

Japan’s car sale report (Exclude Kei-car) by top models in March 2012

March is the most selling month of cars in Japan.In average, every march will witness about 100% much volume than normal month.At March 2012,there’re 497,959 registrations (Exclude Kei cars).SuzukiFan can say that up from average 250,000 unit in January and february of the same year.We don’t know why Japanese prefer to by car in March,but SuzukiFan thinks because it is the final month of Japan’s business year.

Toyota Prius sold 45,496 unit this month and claim the top spot.Fallow by Honda Fit or Jazz in an international countries.#3 is agian conquer by Toyota with the Toyota Aqua,A b-segment hatchback with petrol/electric system,.The chart told that the Japanese is going crazy with the petrol/electric car as the fuel economy is strong factor to consider when they buy a car.

There’re 2 Suzukis in the chart which Suzuki Swift is replace Suzuki Solio at top selling car of Suzuki’s this month.Notable data is Nissan Juke at 6,889 unit and Subaru Impreza at 7,512 unit.

Japan’s kei car sale report by model in February 2012

SuzukiFan don’t know why the Daihatsu Mira that have been sold since 2006 was dramatically have lift up sale in near the end of service life.It sold 22,023 unit in february 2012 which was 225% better when compare in the same month last year.No information from Japan but we expect it get heavily discount and incentive before it get the model change.It also kick Suzuki WagonR which was the best selling kei car in Japan from about past 10 year to number 2 spot with 16,861unit sold.Good news for Suzuki is the model that arrived since late 2008 have 17% up when compare to same month last year.

Recently arrived Honda NBOX is rank #3 with 15,322 unit sold.This was just second month of selling.The NBOX was sold more than everyone expect and it actually turn new fortune to Honda as the maker not success in Kei car category for long time.

Notable information is the Nissan Moco which were develope and produce by Suzuki, can sell at 7,164 unit compare to 2702 unit of sister model that get Suzuki’s badge.We don’t think Nissan have 3 time more reputable than Suzuki in Kei car category but the Moco is a lot more beautiful than the Suzuki’s sister model’s version .And SuzukiFan don’t know why Suzuki design car for the alliance better than design for them self.
