Suzuki Swift Sport in under consideration for India and the good news is Suzuki developing new small diesel engine for small car.

Suzuki Swift is India’s most selling car in April 2012 ahead of long runing Suzuki Alto.It can be said that Swift sale in India going stronger year after year.no doubt about that because it is one of the best ride and handling,Grestest petrol and diesel engine,Maruti’s quality of after sale and good resale value.

It has been confirmed that next generation of Maruti Suzuki 800 will discontinue the 800 name and receive new name.Amoung the rumour that currently surface,the replacement may called Cervo.And, The car is not relative to Japanese Suzuki Cervo that forward in many Email in the recent year.

The 800 replacement will be new develop car and will have price around 2-3.5 lakh.Power by 800 CC petrol that develop from Alto F8D engine.It will, at the same time,replace Alto when it arrive as many unformal source say that Suzuki will get rid of 800 CC version of Alto and left only the Alto K10.The Maruti Suzuki 800 replacement will arrive by november 2012

“Alto’s (both 800cc and K10) production has declined to less than 1,100 a day from a peak of 1,500,” an executive at one of the part suppliers said. Maruti Suzuki is expected to give us a higher (part) supply schedule for the new car as it expects sales to grow after the (Maruti Suzuki 800 replacement) launch,” the executive said.

Another update news is supplier said that Maruti Suzuki is developing the new Alto on its existing platform, it will be “a completely new car.”SuzukiFan expect it to arrive around two year.

Next generation 2013 Suzuki Palette will have super fuel economy as good as 28 liter/km.

Suzuki Palette is now in first generation,arrive since february 2008,is Suzuki answer to Daihatsu best selling kei’s car for past many year.First generation’s Daihatsu Tanto was arrive in 2003 and 2nd generation arrived sinced december 2007.The car is a low floor high roof with boxy styling and rear sliding doors.The Tanto also ahead of the palette because it don’t have middle pillar.

In 2011,Daihatsu dispatched 129,118 unit of Tanto to customer.While Suzuki can sold 54,825 unit of Palette and they also produce 49,548 unit of Palette that rebadge as Nissan Roox.The Daihatsu Tanto sale is ahead of Suzuki because they divide in to sub-brand like Tanto Exe which acctually all new car with new interior and exterior styling but share Tanto’s name and sale data’s report at Tanto’s figure.

The new Tanto will arrive in december 2012 and the 2nd generation of Palette will arrive in 2013.Some source is say that new Palette will arrive in early 2013 but some report around september to December 2013 which very close to the launch date of next generation Suzuki WagonR which will arrive in september 2013.So,The launch date of Palette may move ahead because of to make it not be accurate with the new WagonR.

The new Palette will have lighter weight and ultra-low fuel consumption R06A engine. JC08 mode fuel efficiency of the current palette is 20.8km / L but the new model is expected to be around 28km / L dua to use of new engine and more light weight plaform.

Suzuki Start building 2nd plant of Changan Suzuki in China

Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd, A joint venture production and sales of Suzuki’s automobiles in China (Investment ratio; Suzuki Motor Corporation 25%, 10% Suzuki China Investment Co., Ltd., 14% Sojitz Corporation, 51% Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd) open a groundbreaking ceremony of new passenger car plant in Chongqing ,China.The 2nd factory of Changan Suzuki located in Tomoe Chongqing or located in the existing first Changan Suzuki’s plant.

The new plant will start production at december 2013 with 150,000 units per year and will increase to 250,000 unit a year by 2015.While the first plant can produce 250,000 a year is runing in nearly full production in 2011 with 209,692 units produced.

The Changan Suzuki establish in May 25, 1993 and start production at May 1995.Now, it got 4,343 Employee and procduce Alto,Cultus (Antelope),Swift and SX4

Maruti Suzuki to build new diesel engine plant in Gurgaon and new factory in Gujarat to be finalised by June

Maruti Suzuki have announced last saturday that the marker will reduce car production at Gurgaon plant from around 700,000-800,000 unit per year to around 500,000 unit a year by 2015.This announcement is quite surprise and not in anyone’s expectation before because it opposite to the growth rate of India’s car industry.Maruti Suzuki said that it due to logistical and environmental issues.

The Gurgaon factory is in the middle of the town and “there are a lot of logistical issues,” Bhargava, chairman, Maruti Suzuki, said. “Besides, there are people staying in the vicinity and there are a lot of environmental concerns as well which pose a challenge.”They also report that the high population of car and traffic jam in Gurgaon make hundred of Maruti’s trailers and trucks that supply part and dispatch car that run each day not so convenient .Maruti said that it not a employee issue.at the Gurgaon plant,” said Bhargava.

Maruti will invest Rs 17 billion ($331 million) to build the diesel-engine factory in Gurgaon. The factory will start operations by the middle of 2013 with an initial annual capacity of 150,000 engines, which will be doubled in 2014.Maruti said it will use the current car parking ‘s spece to build the plant.

Now Maruti Suzuki sources 240,000 diesel engines a year from Manesar factory and in 2012 Maruti Suzuki will get more 100,000 diesel engines per year from Fiat and in 2014 will get more 300,000 unit from the new plant.The company say that the sale of diesel vehicles have grown 35 per cent, to account for a 47 per cent share of sales in the overall passenger vehicle market

In 2012 Maruti Suzuki will ramp up production of new lines at Manesar in mid-2012 (Line B) and mid-2013 (Line C or third plant with an annual capacity of 2.50 lakh units).

Maruti Suzuki also say that it will annouce specification of building a new factory in the western state of Gujarat at june 2012.The new factory in Gujarat should start around 2014-2015 with production could expens to 2,000,000 car a year in the next 15-20 year.”We’ll start with an assembly line of 250,000 vehicles a year and will increase it output based on the demand,” Bhargava said.

The Solio have model change in december 2010 after first generation arrive in 1999.The current Solio is limit only in Japan as it will be too much models if Suzuki sale it in international market as now they have Swift,Splash and even Swift Dzire in their offering.Anyway,The country with high sale volume like India is considering to introduce the Solio but it still not havepend right now

Since the 2nd generation launch, The Solio have generate more than expect sale volume.it eventually overtake Swift as Suzuki’s best selling car in Japan (Exclude Kei car).Suzuki also send OEM which rebadge it and sell as Mitsubishi Delica D2.The Solio is sub compact MPV with rear sliding door.The Japanese wbesite are say that The Solio have a high overall height but have a good ride,easy and fun to drive.The chassis have a stiffness just like the Swift that made the car good ride and handling.Overall,The Solio is a good car.

The source from Japan report that,Solio sale is very consistant and Suzuki see the oppotunity to bring the larger car.The source are saying that Solio LWB will have 3 row and 7 seat.The current Solio power by K12B 1.2 liter petrol engine which has latest technology,VVT both intake and exhaust.The car achieved 21.0km / L in 10.15 mode fuel consumption.But the long wheel base of Solio may power by 1.4 liter petrol.The production of Solio LWB should have similar size to the Ertiga but it will have more interior space as it will be higher and more boxy shape.The car will also have rear sliding door and transmiossion will place not between the seat so that people car walk from front seat to 2nd row.

Fiat see Suzuki as first choice’s partner to form alliance

The Italian website il giornale report that Sergio Marchionne, both as president of ACEA and president of a Fiat-Chrysler group launch press event in Brussels last week, it’s official that Fiat-Chrysler is looking for new business alliances to share component and reduce cost.As part of ambition plan to lift the current company that sell 4 million cars to eight million by 2014 !!

The many Italian source’s report that Suzuki and Mazda is in consideration at the turin carmaker.Suzuki sells annually about 3 million cars and as many as 70% of its turnover comes just from Asia and Mazda which currently produces 1.2 million vehicles a year, 40% of them sold in Asia.

Al trough still no word from Suzuki but Italian’s website say that Suzuki is first choice’s partner to form alliance because the twos have share technological cooperation for around 10 year.

Panorama reported that there’re conflict between the same Suzuki and Volkswagen, which controls 20% of the Japanese brand and Suzuki now willing to break any relationship with VW.

Marchionne also told that In Europe – said – were a few partners. and Fiat -Chrysler group want to penetrate Asia. So,partnership with Suzuki seem to be logical point.He also say that “The U.S. car industry is back” but Europe – he added – “is a critical point”, and “European’s new car registrations will be flat through 2014″.

Indicated by several analyst,Suzuki is most appropriate one for the Fiat.

In mid November 2011,SuzukiFan got rumour from Japan that the Regina concept that debuted in 2011 Tokyo motor show will transform to Suzuki new compact hatchback.But after consideration with the source, the latest information is…,The Regina or the same car dubbed as G70 when display at 2012 Geneva auto show, will preview next generation Suzuki Alto or A-star ( As they call in India)

The confirmed news is the Alto replacement will arrive in early 2014.

The current Alto/A-Star got different fate than Suzuki planed.In some countries/region (Europe and India) it sale fewer than expect but it in some countries, it surprisingly sell a lot more than Suzuki predict. That means,There’re some criteria need to be improve.

The current Alto/A-Star is rank one of the best handling,suspension and most fun to drive A-segment in Europe but limit rear seat space and boot space is a drawback for the car.So,The Suzuki development team is put next generation Alto/A-Star longger than current car around 15-20 centimeter to get more space and longer wheelbase.

The new car’s rear seat will bigger and more comfortable and storange’s space will be more.At the same time, Suzuki engineering’s team have to retain the good driving characteristic which is the main selling point for current car.While styling will resemble and spawn from the Regina/G70 concept.

Next generation Fiat Sedici will not rebadge the Suzuki SX4

Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera report that Fiat and Chrysler claim that the alliance’s small crossover will be delay about a year.As they plans 2 new small which one of it will replace Suzuki’s design and build SX4 that got rebadge as sell as Fiat Sedici. According to the news both car will be built on the same platform.The production of Fiat will start in December of 2013 and Jeep will start in the middle/late of 2014(delay from mid 2013).

The Turin group will soon launch a successor for the Sedici (Means sixteen or 4×4 in Italian) to replace the crossover that currently built by the Suzuki in Hungary (It is a twin of the SX4 ) and close to retirement. As it launch since 2006 and was big minor change in 2009.The model change of SX4 is claim in late 2012 or early 2013.

Fiat has already announced that the planned investment of one billion euros to bring the plant in Turin for the production of the two cars.After expansion, the Mirafiori plant will have capacity to deliver 280,000 units / year of the jeep version.The launch of Jeep’s compact crossover is scheduled for mid-2014 in Europe. In the following months, the model will reaches the United States and other markets

The Fiat is to launch a replacement for Sedici because the Sedici is near at the end of life and their model sales are falling. According to the JATO Dynamics,In 2011 Fiat Sedici has sold 14,800 units in Europe, with 10% less than in the previous year.

Suzuki Indonesia is about to start prebooking of the Avanza/Xenia’s fighter at february 2012 before offical sale start at 21 April 2012.So,the information regarding specification is unveil even before India which the car get debut at 2012 Delhi auto expo last month. Although the India version that will start sale around march 2012 is not release the specification yet but Suzuki Fan expect it to be very similar equipment to the Indonesian version below.

Some of the features include tilt steering steering wheel , keyless entry, central locking, audio control buttons on the steering wheel, and audio 2DIN which can be connected to music player (MP3 player) and USB Port.
