Let’s talk about compact car from Suzuki’s competitor. Altrough Suzuki don’t have real compact car before, but who know?, it may be in the offering in the next few year.
Mitsubishi Lancer is one of the world most famous compact car,thank to the rally’s legendary and the Evolution car.First arrive in 1973 and now Evolution is in generation ten( or nine in some other counting).
The next generation Evolution XI get green light and it will come with diesel-electric power as company president Osamu Masuko has confirmed to Autocar that the car will goes on sale within three years.Rumour from autoten have said that powered by a 2.0-liter engine generate around 320-350 hp and will deliver 0-100 k.m./h in around 5 second.featuring the electric generator which help reduce CO2 emissions to less than 200g/km.
The car will get re work S-AWC four-wheel drive system,integrates braking,Active Steering and Roll Control Suspension.The company hope it to be Halo vehicle and performance flagship for the brand like the predecessor did and could have a positive effect on the entire Mitsubishi range.
The normal Lancer will arrive in 2013 and Evolution XI in 2014
