Chongqing Changan Suzuki sets sales target for 2010
Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co Ltd, a joint venture mainly set up by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co Ltd and Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corp, said it expects its annual sales to reach 180,000 vehicles in 2010, sources reported.
Chongqing Changan Suzuki sold 13,216 cars in April and 53,000 cars in the first quarter of this year.Sales network building and brand marketing are the two main themes of the company’s marketing strategy this year, said a representative of Chongqing Changan Suzuki.
The company plans to increase the number of its 4S stores from 800 to 1,000 to increase sales.Established in June 1993, Chongqing Changan Suzuki has a registered capital of US$190 million. It is 51% held by Chongqing Changan Automobile and 25% held by Suzuki Motor.
Suzuki also have other joint venture in China with Change auto.
