Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. expects sales to grow 10%-12% in the next fiscal through March 31, 2011, its chairman said Wednesday.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. expects sales to grow 10%-12% in the next fiscal through March 31, 2011, its chairman said Wednesday.
“The sales base will be much higher this year, but we still hope next (fiscal) year we should get something around 10%-12% growth,” R.C. Bhargava told CNBC-TV18.
“Looks like the strong demand, which is there due to the upsurge in economy will continue till this fiscal year and hoping there are no unpleasant surprises in the Budget, will be able to close the year at around 18-20%.”
He also said the company expects sales to grow 18%-20% in the current fiscal year through March 31.
